Special Needs Learning Programme
Online classes for children with special needs
For children with ADHD, autism, dyslexia or any other learning difficulty. One to one classes, a counsellor, and a learning plan made for your child. It can replace school, or run along with school.
- One to one classes
- A counsellor on the team
- Plan reviewed every 12 weeks
A monthly fee, fixed after the counsellor session. The first call, the learning profile and the counsellor session are free.
Subjects: all school subjects, at your child’s pace.
How it works
- 1
We call you
A 30 minute call. You tell us what is happening at school and what you want for your child. If you have a diagnosis report, tell us what it says.
- 2
We understand your child
You fill a short questionnaire. Then the counsellor works with your child on a video call. This can be split over two days.
- 3
We make the plan
A written learning plan and a timetable made for your child. Then classes start.
What the programme includes
- One to one classes. Never a group.
- The same teacher every time. The teacher reads your child’s plan before the first class.
- Short sessions with breaks, if your child needs them.
- A written plan, reviewed every 12 weeks.
- A short note to you after every class.
- Help with the exam route: NIOS, a school, or IGCSE.
- Can replace school, or run along with school.
Questions parents ask
- Do we need a diagnosis to start?
- No. Many parents come to us without a report. We start with what you see at home. If we think an assessment will help, we will tell you where to go. We do not diagnose.
- Is this therapy?
- No. We teach. Your child’s therapy, medicine and doctor continue as before. We plan the classes around them.
- What does it cost?
- A monthly fee. We fix it after the counsellor session, because it depends on how many sessions a week your child needs. You pay nothing until you have seen the plan.
- My child cannot sit through an online class.
- Many children cannot, at the start. We begin with 20 or 30 minute sessions with a break, at the time of day your child is most alert. We increase the time slowly.
