Who we are
This website is run by Burraq Quantum LLP, which runs The Learning ARC. For anything on this page, email hello@learningarc.in.
Your child's name
We ask for your child's first name when you sign up for the aptitude test. We use it in the report and in the counselling session, and we delete it with your account. We do not ask for your child's school, photograph or date of birth anywhere on this website.
To arrange the aptitude test and the counselling session, we need your contact details and a general idea of what your child needs.
What we collect
From the form on the contact page. Your name, your email address, your WhatsApp number, your child's class and board, the subjects where your child needs help, anything you write in the message box, your preferred time for a call, and the fact that you ticked the consent box.
From the contact form. Your name, your email address, your message, and your WhatsApp number if you give it.
From the aptitude test and the counselling session. Your child's answers in the aptitude test and the counsellor's notes from the session. These are used only to recommend and plan your child's classes.
From the free check at /is-my-child-struggling. Your answers to the ten questions and the score. No name or email is attached to them. If you type an email address at the end so that we can send you the result, that email is stored with the answers. If you leave it blank, nothing identifies you.
Server logs. Our web server keeps a short technical record of requests, which may include an internet address. This keeps the site running and secure. It is not used to build a profile of you and is not linked to any form you send.
Why we collect it
We use your details to contact you, to arrange and run classes for your child, and to answer your questions. We do not use them for advertising, and we do not send marketing you did not ask for.
Consent
The enquiry form is not sent unless you tick a box that reads: I am the parent or guardian of this child and I agree to be contacted about ARC classes.
We rely on that consent, given by you as the parent or guardian. We do not take information about a child from anyone who is not the child's parent or guardian, and we do not collect anything from a child directly on this website.
Who can see your details
Only the people who arrange and teach your child's classes. Each of them is required to keep your details confidential.
We do not sell your details. We do not pass them to any other business, advertiser, data broker or partner. Nobody outside The Learning ARC receives them, unless the law requires us to produce a record.
We do not track you
There is no analytics, no advertising pixel, no social media tracker and no third party script on this website. The site's security settings block outside code from loading.
There is no cookie banner because there are no tracking cookies on this site.
How long we keep your details
We keep your details for as long as your child takes classes with us, and for a reasonable period after that.
If you make an enquiry and do not go ahead, we keep the enquiry for one year and then delete it.
Where the law requires us to keep a payment record for a set period, we keep that record and nothing more.
How to have your details deleted
Email hello@learningarc.in from the address you gave us and ask us to delete your details. We delete them within seven days and confirm when it is done. You do not have to give a reason.
At the same address, you can also ask what details we hold about you, or ask us to correct a mistake. We reply within the same seven days.
Children
This website is written for parents and guardians. Children are not asked to fill in anything here, and there is nothing for a child to sign in to.
In class, students are called by first name only. Class recordings are shared only with the families of the students in that group and are never published. No teacher contacts a student directly. Everything about a student goes to the parent.
Changes to this page
If we change what we collect, we update this page and the date at the top. If the change is significant, we write to the families who take classes with us.
The aptitude test
To take the free aptitude test you make an account. We collect your name, your email address and your WhatsApp number, and for each child their first name, the class and the board. For Classes 11 and 12 we also record the stream your child picks at the start of the test.
We ask for your child's first name and nothing more about your child. It is used in the report and in the counselling session. We do not ask for a surname, a school, a photograph or a date of birth.
We keep the answers your child gives, the time each answer took, and the report the test writes. They are stored with your child's first name and nothing else that identifies your child.
The report goes to your WhatsApp number and your email address, and it stays in your account. The link in the message opens the report without a login, so send it on only to people you want to read it.
A child can take the test once in 90 days. If you need it sooner, message us and a counsellor can allow it.
You can delete your account, your children and everything above from your account settings, at any time and without giving a reason. It happens straight away. Your name, email address, WhatsApp number and your child's first name are removed, and what is left holds no name.
