Every class is taught live by a qualified, experienced teacher who has taught students of Classes 3 to 12.

There are no recorded lessons and no app. Every class is live, with a teacher.

How we choose our teachers

How we choose our teachers

Before a teacher joins us, we check their qualifications and their experience of teaching students of this age. Then we watch them teach. We give them a student's aptitude test and the counsellor's notes and see how they plan and teach a class from them.

We also check that the teacher explains clearly, checks every student's work, and tells parents plainly how their child is doing.

What to expect from the teacher

In class

  • The teacher starts every class by going over the last class and the homework.
  • The teacher checks every student's work during the class.
  • Your child is asked to explain the method in their own words.
  • Mistakes are corrected as they happen, and doubts are cleared in the class.
  • No student is compared with another in front of the group.

For parents

  • A written update every weekend: attendance, classwork, homework, learning material and a progress report.
  • A plain answer when you ask how your child is doing.
  • A message if the teacher thinks the format or the plan should change.
  • We tell you when your child no longer needs classes. We do not ask you to buy more classes than your child needs.

Names and photographs

Teacher names and photographs

We do not publish teacher names or photographs on this website. There are no photographs of children on this site either, and we never ask you for a photograph of your child.

When your child joins, we tell you which teacher is taking the class. If you feel the teacher is not right for your child, tell us and we will change the teacher.

Meet the teacher in the demo class

After the counselling session, your child attends a 30 minute demo class with the teacher. Then you decide.
