The Learning ARC is an online learning environment for students of Classes 3 to 12, homeschooling students and neurodivergent learners. We run classes in school subjects for Classes 3 to 12 and skill courses. Every student starts with a free aptitude test and a counselling session, and we recommend the class format that suits your child.

Classes 3 to 12, for CBSE, ICSE and state boards. Classes 3 to 5: Maths, English and EVS. Classes 6 to 8: Maths, English, Science and Social Science. Classes 9 and 10: Maths, Science, English, Social Science and Computer Applications. Classes 11 and 12: English and the subjects of your child's stream. We also run courses in AI and Machine Learning, Arts, English Speaking, Phonics and Abacus. We do not teach students below Class 3.

CBSE, ICSE and state boards. The teacher follows your child's own school textbook. For a homeschooling student, tell us which curriculum you follow. We do not teach IB.

A short test your child completes before the counselling session or in its first 20 minutes. It shows the counsellor what your child can do now, so the recommendation is based on your child and not only on the class they are in. It is free, and it is not a pass or fail test.

Yes. The aptitude test, the 45 minute counselling session and the 30 minute demo class are all free. You pay only when you enrol, for the first month's classes.

Yes. A homeschooling student takes the same aptitude test and counselling session, and we recommend a format and a plan. Tell us which curriculum you follow and the teacher plans the classes around it. We can teach one subject or several, and classes can be in the day.

Yes. In the counselling session you tell us how your child learns and what helps. We then adapt the class format, the pace and the material, usually one to one. This is the special attention format, and the counsellor recommends it where it suits your child. We do not diagnose or treat anything, and we work with what you and your child's school or specialist tell us.

No. If the basics are weak, the counsellor recommends foundation support: the teacher starts from an earlier class where the basics were missed, then covers the current chapters. After the counselling session, the counsellor tells you what your child needs.

Most tuition has one kind of class for every child. We first understand your child through an aptitude test and a counselling session, then recommend a class format: one to one, a small group of up to 4, special attention or foundation support. You get a written update every weekend.

Classes are taught in English. If your child finds reading English difficult, see Phonics for Classes 3 to 5, or tell the counsellor and the teacher starts with reading.

Yes. All classes are live and online. There is no centre to travel to.

It has four parts. The first asks what your child is interested in. The second asks questions on numbers, words, reasoning and shapes. The third asks how your child studies at home. The last part checks the subjects your child studies this year. The test is free and there is nothing to pay at any point.

About 20 to 25 minutes. Your child answers on your phone and nothing on the screen is timed. You can stop in the middle and continue later from where your child left off.

Your child does. You make the account, add your child and start the test, then hand the phone over. For Classes 3 to 5 there are eight questions about study habits at the start that you answer yourself, and the screen tells you when to pass the phone to your child.

No. It is not a medical test, a psychological assessment or an IQ test, and it does not label your child. It shows what your child is interested in, what they find easy, and which topics need work, so the counselling session starts from something real.

Yes, after 90 days. We keep that gap so the second report means something. If you need it sooner, message us and a counsellor can allow it from our side.

The counsellor recommends one after the counselling session. A group of up to 4 students gives your child company, and the teacher still checks every student's work. One to one suits a child who needs the teacher's full attention or a slower pace.

Every weekend you get five things: the attendance sheet, the classwork covered, the homework to complete, the learning material used in class, and a progress report on how your child is doing.

A qualified, experienced teacher who has taught students of this age. We tell you who is teaching your child when your child joins. If it is not working, tell us and we will change the teacher.

Group classes are not repeated. Your child gets the recording and the homework for that class. One to one students get one make up class a month.

Timings are fixed with you after the counselling session. Tell us your preferred time on the contact page. Classes are outside school hours, and a homeschooling student can have classes in the day.

By what the aptitude test shows they can do, not only by the class they are in at school. A Class 6 student and a Class 7 student at the same level can be in the same group.

Yes. The aptitude test and the counselling session decide where your child starts and which format suits them. The teacher adjusts the plan as classes go on. If your child moves faster or slower than the group, we move them to a group that fits, or to one to one.

A laptop or tablet with a working camera, microphone and internet connection. A notebook, a pencil, an eraser and a ruler, and the school textbook for the subject. Each class page and skill course page lists anything more.

Yes. If your child misses a class, you get the recording and the homework. Recordings are shared only with the families of students in that group and are not published anywhere.

Yes, in the first class, if it helps your child settle. For a child who needs special attention, you and the teacher agree what works. After that we ask you to let your child attend alone. You get a written update every weekend.

Your details are stored on our own server and seen only by the people who arrange and teach your child's classes. We do not sell them or share them with anyone. To have them deleted, email hello@learningarc.in.

We ask for your child's first name when you sign up for the aptitude test, so that the report and the counsellor can speak about your child by name. We never ask for your child's school, photograph or date of birth, and the name is deleted with your account.

The form does not need it. We ask for your name, your contact details, your child's class and board, and where your child needs help. We never ask for your child's school, photograph or date of birth. The counsellor takes the name in the session.

No. There is no analytics, no advertising pixel and no third party script on this site. There is no cookie banner because there are no tracking cookies.

Yes. A class has one teacher and at most 4 students, all from enrolled families. The class link is sent to you. Students are called by first name only, and no teacher contacts a student directly.

Email hello@learningarc.in from the address you gave us. We delete your details within seven days and confirm when it is done. You do not have to give a reason.

They are stored on our own server and read by the counsellor who talks to you. They are kept with your child's first name and nothing else that identifies your child. We do not sell them and we do not share them with anyone. You can delete your account and everything in it from your account settings.
